FVRmind is the brainchild of Swedish artist and songwriter Isabella Köhler Alvén that creates trip-hop with rock and melancholic Scandinavian folk influences, carving out their own place in the music industry. With emotional vocals in dripping ambient reverb, FVRmind has been compared to the sounds of Björk, Massive Attack, FKA Twigs and Portishead. FVRmind debuted with the single Blood Moon in January 2019 that transports us into a world of emotional down-tempo beats and atmospheric Scandinavian soundscapes.
The next single will be coming out in March followed by an EP in May 2020. More information TBA.
When performing live, FVRmind is accompanied by guitarist Marcus Kearsey, bassist Rocco Macchia, Sam Glover on keys and drummer Oliver Overgaard. Adding their personal influences, bringing the music alive with dramatic soundscapes. The intimate live performances and edgy sonical arrangements have already taken the band around several of the iconic London live venues (The Garage, Zigfrid von Underbelly, Notting Hill Arts Club and more) and given them the opportunity to play in other European cities: Basel, Switzerland (Sommercasino, Jukebox), Sweden (Lund) and Danmark, Copenhagen (VEGA).
